I have an 04 STi and want some headers. From what I've heard is that some headers will take away the boxer rumble, I want to keep that sexy sound.:D what can you guys recommend me??
 
well because no one is kind enough to actually answer your question...

these three are the more popular unequal length, i have the gt spec's which are great but i originally had an order for maddad's because they're awesome, but they were backordered at the time..
i would get maddad, they have an egt bung tapped in the proper location and the quality is great.

Why do you need headers in the first place? The cost far outweighs the benefits....

if you want the best go get a set of custom Inconel headers :D but be ready to $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. :scurred:

I have been turning away from upgrading the headers because all my WRX buddies say i wont need them. I would like to know why???:confused: If it's goin to bring me up in hp then I want to do it. thanks for the recommendation...keep em comin please

This is my set up so far. I just need another protune cuz i just put in the turbo, fuel pump and injectors....

APS short ram intake
APS Front mount intercooler
Perrin up pipe
Perrin down pipe(2 piece catted)
Perrin dual tube catback(each tube is 2.5inch)
Tein coil overs
Cusco struts
prodrive rims 18"
ugraded clutch
defi gauges(boost, oil temp, oil pressure, egt)
Perrin radiator hoses
Cobb Access port
APS sr56 turbocharger
Walbro fuel pump
power enterprise fuel injectors(850cc)
Blitz turbo timer

Has anyone seen any kind of headers to give some considerable gain???
I think in order to see considerable gains, you have to have considerable monds!

A simple stage 2 or even small turbo (20G/Green) is probably not worth upgrading the headers....

By all means do it if you have the $$, but it might be something like a CAI.

Small gains for the price paid = not worth it!

But why don't you call a turner and ask their opinion!
