If there is arleady a thread, please delete.

I think if all of the Stage 2 builds were listed in one place, it would help those looking to mod their cars and prevent a lot of repeated questions.

Parts used?

Tuning device?

Protuned or OTS map?

Dyno numbers if you have them

Any engine failures after the mod?

Did you do the work or have it done?

Satisfied or want more power?

Not to detract from the thread but.. I am thinking about stage 2... and looking at what people have, I noticed that some people have a bunch of shiz (El headers etc) and they get about the same HP as a person with just a catless DP. What gives? I don't want to spend all my cash on a ton of "stage 2" type mods and end up with the same whp/wtq as if I just went with a dp lol!

Is it just all in the tune?

Hey 4 - very similar mods, very similar numbers. I have no meth, but have a few more intake/exhaust cleanups. ;)

Don't forget heat soke... I was getting a 40 hp variation depending on how hot the car got sitting on the dyno...

Also, the cars listed are different gens sometimes as well. More power can be pulled with some fuel work on our 08's. I told my tuner I want my car to be safe as can be with a few extra ponies. High 200 hp #s started to push up the injector duty too far to be in the conservative range during my run FWIW.

Anyone have a dyno chart for the AMR TBE+CAI package on their tune? I wanted to see what someone else was putting down before I pull the trigger....

Cobb catted dp
Perrin CAI
Open Source Tuning
Using a Dyno Dynamics dyno 5800 ft. elevation w/ 1.15 CF 100 degrees F plus in the shop: 270 whp/280 ft-lb (stock was 210hp and can't recall tq.)

-No engine issues.
-Did install of dp w/ a friend, intake was a piece of cake.
-Tuning: open source, partially self-tuned with the gracious help of several people including a local tuner and the open source community.
-Great power gains, but satisfaction only lasts for so long.

The best reward out of the whole experience was learning more about the car, learning how to tune, and the feeling of accomplishment.
