Hey all,
How hard is it to replace our injectors vs. doing it on a WRX? I've heard that because of the way the side feed injectors work, having a bad install can cause fuel to be dumped into the engine. It is because of this that I am thinking of having a professional do it. What do you all think?

I looked for various how-to's on how to do it, but haven't found any :/

It's really no problem. You have to loosen a couple brackents that hold ac/vac lines on either side. Once you have access to the retaining clips it's easy.
Just undo the torx (t25 i think?) and remove the clip.
Then twist/wiggle the injector free. It seems like it wont come but it will. If you can grab the top of the inj. with a plyers (protect it with a cloth) thats ok but be careful. I think Sub techs have a tool judging by the notches on the top.
Just take your time. It will come out. Pull strait up.
Not hard at all I'd give it a shade tree rating of 3 out of 10.

So the install is not as bad as on a WRX then I take it. Ok, I'm starting to get the confidence to do it myself. I (and friends) have done all the work on my car with the exception of the crank pulley (didn't want to buy the tool for one install), so I'd hate to have to take it to the shop if I could do it myself.
