Widening the brake pedal to make heel-toeing easier

I can't heel-toe (well actually, sidefoot-sidefoot :D ) with my driving shoes on because they're too narrow and I can't reach both the gas and brake pedals. I was wondering if it was possible to somehow artificially widen the brake pedal? If not, is there a good aftermarket brake pedal (or full pedal set) that I could buy which is much wider than the stock brake pedal that you guys would recommend?

Thanks

You can buy differant pedal covers that are wider. I would just be sure to get some that screw on not clamp on.

The reason I know about these is because a buddy of mine makes them. Heres a link to his distributer. http://www.autovation.net/.

Awesome link, thanks. Do you know how the gas pedal is installed? Do you have to take off the whole stock pedal cover or can you install it right over the pedal itself?

If it was me I would take the stock one off but I think you can do it either way.

OMP pedal sets

Here is one more option, the CDOC and OMP pedal sets. These are a bit expensive, but are really nice. Mine were easy to put on and didn't take me too long to adjust my heel toe from the stock pedals.

I don't know this company personally, but I have had only good experiences working with them and I like mentioning any company that takes care of their customers.
